Cloud Security Architect
Job Description
In a consulting environment provide Cloud deployment model, architecture, security design, best practice and recommendations to corporate clients. As part of a project team meet with key stakeholders (user IT management/decision makers/owners) to gather requirements pertaining to cloud infrastructure and security.
From specifications prepare project proposals detailing scope of engagement, delivery strategy, timeline, and costs. Once engaged prepare and approved, present design document (e.g., the details of the overall project). Once accepted deploy resources in the cloud per the design to ensure availability, scalability, security and efficient. Oversee and optimize IT infrastructure services, including network management, system operations, service management, DevOps practices, automation strategies, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure high availability and performance on Microsoft Azure and AWS utilize Azure development products (DevOps (ADO), Azure Site Recovery(ASR), Azure Backup, ServiceNow, Jira).
In order for applications to be deployed to the web, employee with Orchestrate ( configure) the architecture to permit the application to scalable and securely function on the cloud. Continuously evaluate and improve IT infrastructure and security practices, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement best practices and innovative solutions. Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity, coordinating incident response efforts to quickly address security breaches and minimize impact.
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity measures, including user identity life cycle management, access management, User access recertification and identity and application governance utilizing identity and access management tools (Okta, Microsoft Entra, SailPoint, A-Gov). Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 Tenant, ensuring security and compliance to protect organizational data (a tool used to secure email and data access). Ensure cybersecurity solutions adhere to industry standards and regulations (such as SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS), and legal requirements relevant to the organization’s operations. Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and offensive penetration testing using A-Gov to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security policies and enhancing overall security posture. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and 2 years of experience.
Salary: $ 79,893 per Year (X)
Full Time Hours: 40
Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday
Job Site: Employee is permitted to work remotely from his/her home residence, but must be willing to travel to various unanticipated jobsites within the U.S.
